And just who am I?
I’m a teacher who wants her students to learn how movement is at the base of all performance. In pursuit of knowledge about movement I’ve traveled across the country and abroad to learn from top teachers.
I’ve distilled much of this knowledge into Piano Moves and Sensory Tune-ups so you can learn it from the comfort of your home. Knowing that all teachers go over the same material at different levels - a spiral curriculum - I designed Piano Moves to inspire you to do that with Body Mapping.
Here’s what others have asked!
WHAT IF I’VE NEVER STUDIED ANATOMY?
Piano Moves was designed for you! It starts with the basics and includes lots of teaching advice.
I DON’T THINK I HAVE TIME FOR THIS
In Barbara Conable’s words, you don’t have time not to learn this! She designed Body Mapping courses for musicians who were held back because they lacked knowledge that would have moved them forward. My books are designed for busy teachers so you can break down the information into manageable units.
